A staple summer dessert on the grill. It is starts with grilled peaches & finished off in the cast iron skillet.

Grilled Peach Cobbler


– Large Peaches, pitted and halved – Brown Sugar – All Purpose Flour – Ground Cinnamon – Ground Nutmeg – Salt – Unsalted Butter

Place the peaches on direct heat on the grill and cook them for 5 mins with the lid closed.

Remove the peaches from the grill & allow them to cool enough to be able to handle.

Slice the peaches & place them in a bowl.  Add the rest of the cobbler ingredients except for the butter & stir.

Pour mixture into a cast iron skillet. Cut & place butter on the skillet. Cover with foil & cook for 15 mins.

Whisk the flour, sugar & baking powder. Then mix heavy whipping cream & melted butter. Stir the flour mixture.

Remove the foil from the cast iron skillet.  Dollop the biscuit topping on top of the peaches covering the top.

Cover the grill (make sure the foil is off the pan) & cook until the biscuit topping is browned (about 12-15 mins).

Then it’s ready to serve topped with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
