Learn How to Season a Blackstone Griddle so that your food won’t stick and to make your Blackstone last a lifetime. These easy steps will get your griddle ready for all your summer time BBQ’s!

– Bucket of Water – Blackstone Griddle Seasoning and Cast Iron Conditioner – Heat-resistant gloves or tongs – Paper Towels – Salt – Soap Powder – Stick

Before you begin seasoning the Blackstone Griddle, wash & rinse the Blackstone Griddle.

step 1

Then heat up the griddle & let it blacken.

step 2

Add a layer of oil to the top of the Blackstone Griddle. Use a paper towel to spread the oil. Then wipe off all the oil.

step 3

Then heat the griddle again. The griddle will start smoking & will blacken. Turn the griddle off once the smoke stops.

step 4

Then repeat this process 2-3 more times. The griddle will continue to smoke until it’s blackened.

step 5

Then let the griddle cool & wipe down the griddle with the Blackstone conditioner.
