- 4 Medium Russet Potatoes cleaned and dried
- 2 Tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 Tbsp Sea Salt
- Supplies:
- Aluminum Foil
Preheat the grill to 400 degrees F.
Use a fork to poke holes all over the 4 medium russet potatoes. Place 2 Tbsp avocado oil in a shallow bowl and 1 Tbsp sea salt in a separate shallow bowl. Coat the 4 potatoes in the avocado oil, then roll them in the sea salt to coat the outside.
Place the 4 potatoes in a microwave-safe dish and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Then wrap each potato in aluminum foil.
Place the potatoes directly on the grill grates and keep the lid shut. Allow the potatoes to cook on the grill for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes until the potatoes are fork tender and the skin is crispy. Rotate the potatoes every 15-20 minutes to avoid grill hot spots and make sure to keep the lid closed for the entire cooking time. The cooking time will vary based on the size of the potatoes.
Allow the potatoes to cool slight before serving. Then cut, top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
Make sure that the potatoes are dry before grilling to prevent any burning on the outside of the potato skin.
Store any leftover potatoes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5-7 days.
