Ingredients

  • 6 Salmon Filets
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil divided
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Oregano
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

Instructions

  • Mix together the seasonings in a small mixing bowl.  Place the salmon filets on a plate.
  • Rub 1 tablespoon of the vegetable oil onto both sides of the filets.  Then spoon the seasoning mixture over the salmon and spread it around. Make sure to season both sides of the fish.
  • Preheat the Blackstone grill over high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).  Spread the remaining vegetable oil onto the grill.
  • Place the salmon filets on the Blackstone grill on top of the oil.  Let them cook for 3 minutes.  Time them and do not move the fish during this cooking time so that the fish will get blackened.
  • Then flip the salmon filets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
  • Remove the salmon from the grill and allow it to sit for 5 minutes.  Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
