Blackstone Fried Potatoes

Blackstone Fried Potatoes is one of my favorite side dishes. The fried potatoes turn so crispy on the Blackstone and are full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 5 Medium Russet Potatoes peeled and sliced into 1/8" thick slices
  • 3 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 Onion chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).
  • Drizzle 3 tablespoons vegetable oil onto the grill surface. Place 5 medium russet potatoes, peeled and sliced into ⅛-inch thick slices, in an even layer on the grill. Season the potatoes with ½ teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon black pepper.
  • Do not flip the potatoes and allow them to cook for 3-4 minutes until browned slightly. Flip the potatoes and then cook them for 3-4 more minutes on the opposite side.
  • Add ½ chopped onion to the grill and toss with the potatoes until evenly distributed. Continue to sauté and cook the potatoes with the onion for 5-7 mores minutes until the potatoes are tender and browned.
  • Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!

Notes

*Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
*You can use 1/2 tsp of Onion Powder instead of the diced onions for this recipe if you prefer.
*We used Russet potatoes but this recipe can also be made with red potatoes or yellow gold potatoes instead if you prefer.
