Cast Iron Shrimp

- 16 oz Raw Shrimp peeled and deveined tails on
- Zest of 1 Lemon
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Lemon juiced
Reheat the grill over medium high heat (approximately 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit).
In a large mixing bowl, toss together the shrimp, lemon zest, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper until the shrimp is coated in the oil and seasonings.
Place the cast iron skillet on the grill and allow it to be heated through (a few minutes).
Add the butter to the skillet and melt it.
Place the shrimp into a single layer in the pan. Cook the shrimp for approximately 1 minute without moving the shrimp until the bottom of the shrimp is golden brown.
Carefully flip the shrimp and cook the other side of the shrimp for approximately 1 minute until the other side is cooked through and browned.
Remove the pan from the grill. Top the shrimp with the lemon juice.
Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!
Make sure that the shrimp is defrosting prior to cooking them in the skillet.
Refrigerate any leftover shrimp in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
