- 1 tablespoon Fajita seasoning
- 1 fresh lime juiced
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 white onion
- For Serving:
- Sour Cream
- Shredded Cheese
- Chopped Cilantro
- Lime Wedges
- Flour Tortillas
Slice the bell peppers and the onions and add them to a large mixing bowl.
Slice the chicken breasts and add them to the bowl as well.
Season the chicken and vegetables with the fajita seasoning. Use a large spoon to coat the chicken and vegetables with the seasoning.
Divide the chicken mixture between four 12×12 inch sheets of foil, then wrap the foil tightly around the contents to form your foil packs.
Grill over high heat for about 8-10 minutes on each side or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit).
Make sure to be careful when opening the foil packets as steam will be released.
Then the chicken mixture is ready to serve with your favorite fajita toppings or over tortillas and enjoy!
These also can be baked on a baking sheet at 425 degrees F for about 20 minutes until cooked through and has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
