Chicken Rub Recipe

We love adding this dry Chicken Rub Seasoning to our chicken to give it so much flavor. Simple pantry seasoning takes minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  • Mix together all the ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Rub approximately 1 tablespoon of the rub generously over chicken breasts, drumsticks or thighs.  Let them marinate in the rub for at least 20 minutes or overnight.
  • Then you can grill, bake or air fry the chicken as preferred.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months.  Make sure to discard any of the rub that might have come into contact with any of the raw chicken.
