Ingredients

  • 6 Chicken Breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 18 Slices Bacon

Instructions

  • Preheat a grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F) and turn off one of the burners to have 2 zones, direct heat and indirect heat.
  • Mix all the seasonings together in a small bowl.  Season the chicken breasts on both sides with the seasoning mixture.
  • Wrap each chicken breast with 3 slices of bacon.  Make sure to slightly overlap each piece.  You can use toothpicks to secure the bacon to the chicken as well.
  • Cook the chicken over indirect heat for 20-25 minutes, flipping them every 4-5 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F and the bacon is crispy.
  • Remove the chicken from the grill.  Let the chicken rest uncovered for at least 5 minutes.  Then it’s ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

Use an instant-read meat thermometer to make sure that the chicken is cooked to a safe interval temperature before enjoying. 
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days. 
To Bake: Bake the bacon wrapped chicken at 375 degrees F for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.  Then broil the chicken for 1-2 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
