- 6 Chicken Breasts
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 18 Slices Bacon
Preheat a grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F) and turn off one of the burners to have 2 zones, direct heat and indirect heat.
Mix all the seasonings together in a small bowl. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with the seasoning mixture.
Wrap each chicken breast with 3 slices of bacon. Make sure to slightly overlap each piece. You can use toothpicks to secure the bacon to the chicken as well.
Cook the chicken over indirect heat for 20-25 minutes, flipping them every 4-5 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F and the bacon is crispy.
Remove the chicken from the grill. Let the chicken rest uncovered for at least 5 minutes. Then it’s ready to serve and enjoy!
Use an instant-read meat thermometer to make sure that the chicken is cooked to a safe interval temperature before enjoying.
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
To Bake: Bake the bacon wrapped chicken at 375 degrees F for 25-30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. Then broil the chicken for 1-2 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
