Ingredients

  • 4 Bone-In Pork Chops
  • 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill over medium high heat (approximately 450 degrees F).
  • Rub the olive oil on both sides of the pork chops and season them with the salt and pepper and rub it into the pork chops.
  • Place the pork chops directly on the grill (on direct heat) and cook for 4-6 minutes (do not touch it) until the pork releases from the grill. Then flip the pork chops and cook the pork chops for 3-5 more minutes on the opposite side until the pork releases from the grill.
  • Then baste both side of the pork chops with the barbecue sauce. Cook each side of the pork chops for 1 minutes to caramelize the barbecue sauce on the pork chops.
  • Transfer the pork chops to a separate plate, let them rest for 3 minutes. Then the pork chops are ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

*Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
*Make sure that the pork chops have an internal temperature of 145 degrees F before serving. We use an instant read meat thermometer to make sure that the pork is cooked to a safe temperature before serving.
*Do not add the BBQ sauce until the end of the cook time as the sugar in the barbecue sauce will cause the pork chops to burn.
