Grilled Bratwurst

Grilled Bratwurst is a great grilling option for lunch or dinner. It is hearty, flavorful and simple to make. Brats are a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 6 Bratwursts
  • 6 Bratwurst Buns
  • Sauerkraut optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your grill over medium high heat (approximately 350 degrees F).
  • Place 6 bratwursts on the grill over indirect heat and cook them for 15 to 16 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bratwursts reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.
  • Move the 6 bratwursts onto direct heat and grill for 1 to 2 minutes to crisp the casing and brown the outside of the bratwursts.
  • Warm 6 bratwurst buns by microwaving them for 30 to 60 seconds or placing them on the grill for a few seconds until heated through
  • Then serve the bratwursts in the buns topped with the sauerkraut and enjoy!
