- 1 ½ pound Ground Beef 80/20
- 12 Hawaiian Rolls
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- ½ teaspoon Pepper
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 6 slices American Cheese
Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat (approximately 450 degrees F).
Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half lengthwise. Then form the ground beef into a large rectangle roughly the size of the Hawaiian rolls that is approximately ¼ inch thick.
Place the butter on the grill and use a spatula to spread it out. Then place the beef directly on the grill over the buttered area. Place a large sheet of parchment paper on top of the beef and gently press the beef down with either a burger press or a spatula. Remove the parchment paper and season the beef with salt and pepper.
Allow the beef to cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and the beef is cooked through. You will know that the beef is ready to flip when juices start to pool on top and the outsides of the beef start to brown.
Place the Hawaiian rolls onto the grill, cut side down, for a few minutes to toast the rolls. Remove the rolls from the grill.
Cover the top of the beef with the American cheese slices. Once the cheese has melted, remove the beef and place it on the Hawaiian rolls.
Use a knife to cut apart the sliders and then they are ready to serve and enjoy!
You can easily top them with your favorite sauces or toppings.
We make these on the Blackstone grill, but you can also make them on a griddle or a cast iron skillet as well.
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
