Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan. Whisk to combine.
  • Heat over medium heat and bring to a low boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low and simmer until thickened (approximately 15-20 minutes), stirring often.
  • Remove from heat, allow to cool and then the sauce is ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate in an airtight glass container and the BBQ sauce should keep for up to 2 weeks.
This sauce will be thick and will thicken as it cools.
If you want the sauce to be thinner, slowly add in more water until the sauce is the consistency that you prefer.
