Calories: 110kcal
- 12 large jalapeños
- 24 medium shrimp peeled and deveined
- 12 slices bacon cut in half
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 teaspoon Minced Garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes to make room for the filling.
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Stir until smooth.
Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, filling it generously. Place a shrimp on top of each filled jalapeño half.
Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a half slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick if needed.
Place the poppers on the grill over indirect heat. Close the lid and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crisp and the jalapeños are tender. Then the poppers are ready to serve and enjoy!
Don't overstuff peppers or cheese could melt out.
Partially cook the bacon slightly for crispier results.
Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
