Smoked Green Beans

Smoked Green Beans is a delicious smoker side dish. The green beans are cooked with a smoky flavor with simple seasonings.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Fresh Green Beans washed and trimmed
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Instructions

  • Preheat the smoker to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Place the prepared green beans in a large mixing bowl.  Pour the melted butter on top and season with the salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  • Toss the green beans to coat them in the butter and seasoning mixture.
  • Spread the green beans into a large try or baking sheet into a single layer.
  • Place the tray or baking sheet in the smoker and smoke for 2-3 hours, flipping them every 30 minutes, until they are tender.
  • Remove from the smoker, let the green beans cool slightly and then they are ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
