Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).
Place 12 slices bacon on one side of the griddle. Spread 1 tablespoon oil on the other side of the griddle with a spatula.
Divide 2 pounds ground beef into 6 equal portions, approximately ⅓ pound each, and form them into balls.
Place the ground beef on the Blackstone grill next to the bacon on the oil.
Press firmly on the ground beef balls into the Blackstone Grill. Do not smash it all the way down but just press slightly to form a burger patty.
Season the patties with ½ teaspoon garlic salt and ½ teaspoon black pepper.
Cook the patties for 3 minutes -5 minutes.
While the beef is cooking, flip the bacon and add a bacon press on top if you have one (optional).
Flip the burgers and cook until burgers are cooked through (3-4 more minutes).
Remove bacon when it is to your desired crispiness. Place on a paper towel lined plate.
Top each burger patty with 1 slice sharp cheddar cheese.
Remove the beef and add them to one of the hamburger buns. Top with two slices of bacon.
Then add your favorite burger toppings and enjoy!
