Ingredients

  • 6 Boneless Pork Chops approximately 1 inch thick
  • 2 Tablespoon Avocado Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • ½ cup Barbecue Sauce

Instructions

  • Place all the seasoning in a small bowl.  Stir to thoroughly combine the ingredients.  Rub the seasoning mixture onto both sides of the pork chops.
  • Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F). Once the grill is heated.  Spread the oil out on the grill and use a spatula to spread it around.
  • Add the pork chops to the grill on the oil.  Cook for 2-4 minutes on each side until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F and the edges are browned and caramelized.
  • Remove the pork chops from the grill. Baste the pork chops with the barbecue sauce with a basting brush.  Then allow the pork chops to rest for 5 minutes. Then they are ready to slice, serve and enjoy!

Notes

Recipe Tips
  • Seasoning Pork Chops - Make sure to cover the pork chops thoroughly with the simple seasoning.
  • Griddle - Griddle pork chops cooks fast and easily when the griddle is hot and oiled.
  • Don’t Overcook – Make sure to use your meat thermometer to check for doneness. If your pork chops cook to long, they can be dry and tough to eat.
Variations Ideas
  • Seasoning - Feel free to change the spices to what you have on hand. You can add in brown sugar, paprika, or mustard for delicious variation.
  • Soy Sauce - You can easily marinate the pork chops in soy sauce as well as seasoning them.
  • BBQ Sauce - You can use different flavors of BBQ sauce or make homemade pork chops.
  • Change Meat - We used boneless pork chops to make this recipe, but you can also use bone-in pork chops or chicken.
