Blackstone Blackened Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3 Chicken Breasts
  • 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil divided
  • ½ teaspoon Onion Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Oregano
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

Instructions

  • Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise.
  • Mix together the seasonings in a small mixing bowl.  Place the chicken filets on a plate.
  • Rub 1 tablespoon of the vegetable oil onto both sides of the chicken breasts
  • Spoon the seasoning mixture over the chicken and spread it around with a basting brush.
  • Preheat the Blackstone grill over high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).  Spread the remaining vegetable oil onto the grill.
  • Place the chicken on the Blackstone grill on top of the oil.
  • Cook for 4-6 minutes until browned. Flip the chicken, cook for 5-6 more minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
  • Remove the chicken from the grill and allow it to sit for 10 minutes.  Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
