Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Ground Beef
  • 1 Tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 6 slices Sharp Cheddar Cheese we used a white cheddar but any will work
  • 6 Hamburger Buns

Instructions

  • Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).
  • Spread 1 tablespoon oil evenly across the griddle with a spatula.
  • Divide 2 pounds ground beef into 6 equal portions, approximately ⅓ pound each, and form them into balls.
  • Place the ground beef on the Blackstone grill on the oil.
  • Press firmly on the ground beef balls into the Blackstone Grill.  Do not smash it all the way down but just press slightly to form a burger patty.
  • Season the patties with ½ teaspoon garlic salt and ½ teaspoon black pepper.
  • Cook the patties for 3 minutes -5 minutes.
  • Flip the burgers and cook until burgers are cooked through (3-4 more minutes).
  • Top each burger patty with 1 slice sharp cheddar cheese and allow the cheese to melt.
  • Remove the beef and add them to one of the hamburger buns.
  • Then add your favorite burger toppings and enjoy!
