Blackstone French Toast

Ingredients

  • 8 slices Texas Toast
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tbsp Butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the Blackstone Griddle over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).
  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together 1 cup milk, 2 large eggs, and 2 teaspoons vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Place 1 tablespoon butter on the griddle and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  • Dip 8 slices Texas toast into the milk mixture, coating both sides of each slice. Place the coated bread directly on the griddle. Continue until all 8 slices have been dipped and placed on the griddle.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bread is golden brown. Then gently flip each piece of toast and cook the opposite side for 2-3 minutes until it golden brown as well.
  • Remove the bread from the grill to a separate plate.
  • Serve topped with syrup and fruit of your choice and enjoy!

Notes

You can use buttermilk instead of milk in this recipe is you prefer.
Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days but we do prefer this recipe fresh.
