Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Sourdough Bread
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 2 slices American Cheese Slice
  • 2 slices Cheddar Cheese Slice
  • 4 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 4 Stripes Thick Cut Bacon

Instructions

  • Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Place bacon slices on the Blackstone Grill on one side on the griddle.  Cook the bacon until the bacon is crispy.  Move the bacon from the grill to a plate lined with a paper towel to soak up the excess grease.
  • Spread the butter (do not use all the butter) on the outside of each slice of bread.
  • Melt the remaining butter onto the Blackstone Grill.
  • Crack the eggs on one side of the Blackstone grill and season them with salt and pepper.  Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom of the eggs are set. Then flip and cook for 1 more minute.  Place the cheddar cheese on top of the eggs and allow it to melt.
  • Then place 2 slices of the bread butter side down onto the Blackstone grill.  Top each piece of bread with an American cheese slice.
  • Layer the eggs on top of the bread (2 eggs per bread) and top with the cooked bacon (2 slices per bread) and the remaining slices of bread (butter side out).
  • Cook both of the sandwiches over medium high heat until golden brown (4-5 minutes).  Flip the sandwiches and cook the other side for 4-5 more minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove the skillet, cut in half and enjoy!

Notes

These are best served fresh.  You can use mayonnaise instead of butter in this recipe if you prefer.  Also, these sandwiches are great with any of your favorite types of cheese.
