- Sourdough Bread
- Butter
- American Cheese Slice
- Cheddar Cheese Slice
- Large Eggs
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Thick Cut Bacon
How to Make Fried Egg Sandwich on a Blackstone Griddle:
- Step 1 – Heat Griddle – Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Step 2 – Cook Bacon – Place bacon slices on the Blackstone Grill on one side on the griddle. Cook the bacon until the bacon is crispy. Move the bacon from the grill to a plate lined with a paper towel to soak up the excess grease.
- Step 3 – Spread Butter – Spread the butter (do not use all the butter) on the outside of each slice of bread.
- Step 4 – Melt Butter – Melt the remaining butter onto the Blackstone Grill.
- Step 5 – Cook Eggs – Crack the eggs on one side of the Blackstone grill and season them with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom of the eggs are set. Then flip and cook for 1 more minute.
- Step 6 – Top with Cheese – Place the cheddar cheese on top of the eggs and allow it to melt.
- Step 7 – Toast Bread – Then place 2 slices of the bread butter side down onto the Blackstone grill. Top each piece of bread with an American cheese slice.
- Step 8 – Layer on Bread – Layer the eggs on top of the bread (2 eggs per bread). Then top with the cooked bacon (2 slices per bread) and the remaining slices of bread (butter side out).
- Step 9 – Cook Sandwich – Cook both of the sandwiches over medium high heat until golden brown (4-5 minutes). Flip the sandwiches and cook the other side for 4-5 more minutes until golden brown.
- Step 10 – Serve – Remove the skillet, cut in half and enjoy!
