How to Prepare Green Beans for Grilling
Trimming the green beans allows you to get the ends off that may not look as good. I think it really cleans up the green beans and gives it more of polish look.
You can also trim the green beans up to 3 days in advance and store in an airtight container. This saves time for a great weeknight dish.
Place green beans on a cutting board and begin trimming the green beans with a sharp knife. Then season and place on the griddle.
Seasoning Variations and Substitutions
  • Change the Spices - You can easily add in your favorite seasonings to change up this recipe. We love adding in paprika, creole seasoning, kosher salt or even steak seasoning to this easy veggie recipe.
  • Add a Topping - Add in bacon, maple syrup, or onions while you are cooking the green beans. Once finished cooking drizzle teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, and sesame seeds over the top.
