Ingredients

  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 packet Instant Yeast 2 ¼ teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon Salt
  • teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Dried Basil Leaves
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ¾ cup Warm Water
  • 1 Tablespoon Avocado Oil for cooking

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, stir together 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 packet instant yeast, 1 teaspoon sugar, ¾ teaspoon salt, ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder, and ¼ teaspoon dried basil leaves with a wooden spoon.
  • Add 2 tablespoons olive oil and ¾ cup warm water. Stir until well combined.
  • Slowly add the remaining 1 cup all purpose flour, stirring until the dough forms into a ball and begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
  • Drizzle a small amount of the 2 tablespoons olive oil in a separate bowl. Move the pizza dough into the bowl and gently roll it around the edges until coated in the oil.
  • Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat (approximately 450 degrees F).
  • Once the dough has risen, move the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead the bread a few times until it’s smooth.  Then roll the dough into a 12 inch circle with a rolling pin.
  • Use a fork to poke holes all over the center of the pizza dough to keep it from bubbling in the oven.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon avocado oil onto the Blackstone grill. Place the pizza dough directly on the grill and cook for 3-5 minutes until browned.
  • Flip the pizza dough.  Then top the pizza with your preferred sauce and toppings.  Make sure to leave approximately 1 inch of the crust around the outside of the pizza.
  • Cover the Blackstone Grill and cook for 5-7 minutes until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted on the pizza.
  • Remove the pizza from the grill. Slice and serve the pizza.  Enjoy!

Notes

Refrigerate the leftover pizza in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
This pizza dough can be made ahead of time.  Let the dough rise at room temperature, then deflate it and wrap the dough in plastic wrap (so it doesn’t dry out) and refrigerate for 2-3 days.
