Ingredients

  • 32 oz. Frozen Sweet Potato Fries
  • 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your Blacktone griddle over medium low heat to approximately 350 degrees F.
  • Spread 2 tablespoons vegetable oil onto the griddle and use a spatula to spread the oil evenly across the surface.
  • Place 32 ounces frozen sweet potato fries onto the griddle in a single layer. Add the fries gradually so that too many frozen fries are not placed on the griddle at one time.
  • Cook the Sweet Potato fries for 2-3 minutes without flipping them (you can close the lid if your griddle has one) until the fries are golden brown.
  • Then flip the fries and cook them for 2-3 more minutes until all sides of the fries are golden brown.
  • Season the fries with 1 teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon black pepper. Then they are ready to enjoy!

Notes

These are best served fresh when they are crispy but you can refrigerate the leftovers for up to 5 days.
The fries will get soft as they sit so the leftovers will be softer.
Any type of oil with a high smoke point will work for this recipe. We used vegetable oil but you can also use avocado oil, canola oil or coconut oil.
