Ingredients:
- Frozen Sweet Potato Fries 32 oz bag
- Vegetable Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
How to Cook Sweet Potato Fries on Blackstone:
- Prepare Oven – Preheat your Blacktone griddle over medium low heat to approximately 350 degrees F.
- Oil the Griddle – Spread the vegetable oil onto the griddle and use the spatula to spread the oil out evenly onto the griddle.
- Add fries to griddle – Then put the frozen sweet potato slices onto the griddle in a single layer.
- Add Fries Slowly to Griddle – Slowly put the fries on the griddle as you don’t want to put a ton of frozen ingredients on the griddle at once or it could cause the griddle to warp.
- Cook Fries – Cook the Sweet Potato fries for 2-3 minutes without flipping them (you can close the lid if your griddle has one) until the fries are golden brown.
- Flip Fries – Then flip the fries and cook them for 2-3 more minutes until all sides of the fries are golden brown. Make sure potatoes are tender before removing.
- Season, Serve and Enjoy – Season the fries with the salt and pepper. Toss and coat fries with seasoning. Then they are ready to enjoy!
Why are my Sweet Potato Fries not Crispy?
When adding the sweet potato fries to the griddle, make sure you add them in a single layer. Make sure that the fries are not touching when adding to the griddle.
Slowly add the fries and cook in batches if you need to.
Sweet Potato Fries Seasoning Ideas:
- Parmesan Cheese – Once they are finished cooking, sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- Cayenne Pepper – If you want a little kick to the fries, sprinkle on some cayenne pepper on the fries.
- Other Dry Seasoning – Other seasoning blends to add are Italian Seasoning, Cajun Seasoning, or Taco Seasoning.
- Sweet Fries – When Fries are finished cooking, sprinkle with some brown sugar.
What to Serve with Sweet Potato Fries:
How to Store Leftovers:
These are best served fresh when they are crispy but you can refrigerate the leftovers for up to 5 days. The fries will get soft as they sit so the leftovers will be softer.
