- 1 pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Tenders
- 1 Tablespoon Avocado Oil
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
For the Teriyaki Sauce:
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- ½ cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- ¼ cup Rice Vinegar
- ¼ cup Honey
- 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- ½ teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
For the Toppings:
- 2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
- 2 Stalks Green Onions diced
Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F). Spread the avocado oil onto the grill and use a spatula to spread it around.
Place the chicken on the grill on top of the oil. Season it with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until the chicken is almost cooked through.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients. Pour this on top of the chicken on the blackstone. Toss to coat the chicken with the sauce mixture.
Then cook for 2-3 more minutes until the chicken is browned and cooked through (internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit).
Remove, let sit for 5 minutes. Then serve topped with the sesame seed and diced green onions. Enjoy!
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
We use an instant-read meat thermometer to make sure that the chicken is cooked to a safe temperature.
