- 1 pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Tenders
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
- For the Teriyaki Sauce:
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- ½ cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- ¼ cup Rice Vinegar
- ¼ cup Honey
- 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- ½ teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
For the Toppings:
- 2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
- 2 Stalks Green Onions diced
Preheat your grill over medium high heat to approximately 350 degrees F. Spray the grill grates with a non-stick cooking spray or rub with oil to prevent the chicken from sticking to the grates.
Place the chicken on the grill on top of the oil. Season it with salt and pepper. Cook the chicken for 4-6 minutes per side until the chicken is almost cooked through (internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit).
In a separate bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients. Brush this mixture onto the chicken tenders on the grill.
Then cook for 1 more minute until the chicken is browned and the sauce is caramelized.
Remove, let sit for 5 minutes. Then serve topped with the sesame seed and diced green onions. Enjoy!
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
We use an instant-read meat thermometer to make sure that the chicken is cooked to a safe temperature.
