Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussel Sprouts cut in half
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • ½ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).  Cut the Brussel Sprouts in half.  Wash the Brussel sprouts and pat them dry.
  • Place the Brussel sprouts in a large mixing bowl.  Drizzle the olive oil on top and season them with the garlic powder, salt and pepper.  Toss the Brussel sprouts to coat them with the oil and seasonings.
  • Place the Brussel sprouts on a large piece of foil.  Seal the edges of the foil to form a foil packet.
  • Place the foil packet on the grill and cook for approximately 20-25 minutes until the Brussel Sprouts are tender.
  • Open the foil pack.  Be careful when opening the foil packet as steam will release from the pack. Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese on top.  Close the foil packet and allow the foil packet to sit for 3-5 minutes for the cheese to melt.
  • Then serve immediately while warm and enjoy!

Notes

You can also make these in the oven.  Bake the foil packet at 400 degrees F for 20-25 minutes until tender. Then top with the parmesan cheese.
Refrigerate the leftover Brussel sprouts in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
