Cook the bacon until crispy based on your preference. Set aside.
Preheat a grill over medium heat (approximately 350-400 degrees F).
Form the ground beef into 6 patties approximately ⅓ pound each.
Place on the grill over direct heat. Season the patties with salt and pepper.
Cook for 5-6 minutes per side until the patties reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
Microwave the peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl on high for 30 seconds.
Place the hamburger buns on the grill for approximately 1 minute to toast the buns. Remove the buns.
Top each of the bottom buns with a slice of the cheddar cheese and a cooked burger patty.
Then spread the warmed peanut butter on top of the patties. Top with 2 slices of the cooked bacon and the topped bun.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Be careful not to over-mix the beef or the burgers will be tough. Just mix with your hands until just combined.
Use an instant-read meat thermometer to make sure that the beef is cooked to a safe temperature before eating.
