Servings: 8 (Makes about 2 cups of Rub - I recommend 1/4 cup of rub for 8lbs pork roast)
Calories: 79kcal
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Kosher Salt
- 1/3 cup Smoked Paprika
- 2 Tablespoons Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Cumin
- 1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Dry Mustard Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
Mix all the ingredients together in the bowl. Use a fork to break up any clumps of the seasoning to evenly mix it together.
Use immediately or store in an airtight container until ready to use. I prefer to store in a mason jar with a lid and store in a cool, dark place.
I use approximately 1/4 cup of this dry rub on an 8-10 pound pork roast, making sure to rub it on both sides of the pork.
This rub would last for approximately 9 months as long as it’s stored in a cool dark place.
