Preheat the smoker to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
While the grill is preheating, whisk together the brown sugar, dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar and garlic powder together in a small bowl.
Place the ham steaks in the smoker directly on the grill grates.
Smoke the ham steaks for 30 minutes.
Brush the glaze mixture on both sides of the ham steak with a basting brush.
Smoke the ham steaks for 30 more minutes once the glaze is rubbed onto the ham steak.
Remove the ham steaks from the smoker, serve while warm and enjoy!
If you want the glaze on the ham steak to be caramelized, after smoking place the ham steaks under the broiler for a few minutes. Watch it closely so that it does not burn.
You can cut your ham steaks yourself, but I prefer to just buy them pre-sliced into 1/2 inch thick slices. If they are not sold that way at your local grocery store, the butcher should be able to cut them for you.
Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
