Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds Sirloin Steak
  • 1 1/2 pound Baby Potatoes quartered
  • 1 onion peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter diced into small pieces

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).
  • Cut the steak into 1 inch pieces.  Then place the steak, potatoes, onions, olive oil, parsley, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl.  Toss to thoroughly coat the ingredients with the seasonings.
  • Place the ingredients in the center of 4 different pieces of foil that are at least 12X12 inches.  Top each one with the diced butter.
  • Seal the foil packet and place them on the grill.  Cook for 6-7 minutes per side until the steak is cooked to the preference that you prefer and the potatoes are fork tender.
  • Be careful when opening the foil packet and enjoy immediately while warm.

Notes

Make sure to use heavy duty foil so that it doesn’t break when making this recipe.
You can also use fingerling potatoes or yukon gold potatoes as well.  Just make sure to dice them into smaller pieces so that the potatoes are done at the same time as the steak.
You can use any of your favorite cuts of steak.  I like using sirloin as it cooks well in this recipe.
