Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 large bell pepper any color, cut into chunks
  • 1 large red onion cut into chunks
  • 8-10 cherry tomatoes
  • 8-10 button mushrooms
  • 2 zucchinis sliced
  • For the Marinade:
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, rosemary, pepper, and salt.
  • Place the steak cubes in a large resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the steak, seal the bag, and ensure all pieces are well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Thread the marinated steak, bell pepper, red onion, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, and zucchini slices alternately onto skewers.
  • Place the skewers on the grill. Cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the steak reaches the desired doneness.
  • Remove the kabobs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
Marinating time can be extended up to 8 hours for a deeper flavor.
