- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
- ½ Onion finely diced
- For the Teriyaki Sauce:
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- ½ cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- ¼ cup Rice Vinegar
- ¼ cup Honey
- 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- ½ teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
For the Toppings:
- 2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
- 2 Stalks Green Onions diced
Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F). Spread the sesame oil onto the grill and use a spatula to spread it around.
Add the ground beef and the diced onion to the grill. Cook the beef (breaking up the beef as it cooks) until the beef is no longer pink and the onions are tender (5-7 minutes).
In a separate bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients. Pour this on top of the beef mixture on the blackstone. Toss to coat the beef with the sauce.
Then cook for 1 minute to thicken the sauce.
Remove and serve immediately while warm topped with the sesame seed and diced green onions. Enjoy!
Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
We love serving this mixture over rice.
