Step 3 – Combine Sauce Ingredients – In a separate bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients.
Step 4 – Pour this on top of the beef mixture on the blackstone. Toss to coat the beef with the sauce.
Step 5 – Thicken Sauce – Then cook for 1 minute to thicken the sauce.
- Step 6 – Serve and Enjoy – Remove and serve immediately while warm topped with the sesame seed and diced green onions. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy!
Substitution and Variations:
- Make it Spicy – We like to make this mixture a little spicy. Add in a teaspoon or two of red pepper flakes. You can also mix in sriracha sauce for added flavor.
- Vegetables – If you like to make it a complete meal and make everything on the griddle, add in some vegetables. We recommend adding shredded carrots, bell peppers, or even some broccoli. Slice mushrooms are another great options if you like mushrooms.
- Change the Meat – If you prefer you can use ground turkey or ground chicken for this recipe. You can also use half ground turkey and half ground beef.
- Oil – We used sesame oil to cook the beef, but you can also spread vegetable oil on the griddle.
Can you Make Teriyaki Ground Beef on Stovetop?
Yes, this teriyaki ground beef recipe can easily be prepared on the stovetop. Cook the ground in a skillet over medium heat. Then combine the teriyaki sauce ingredients and pour over the top of the cooked beef.
