There’s something about Pretzel Bun Burgers that makes them feel like an upgrade from the usual smash burger night. The buns are soft and chewy with just the right amount of salt, and they pair so perfectly with a juicy burger patty, caramelized onions and melted cheese.

I still remember the first time I tried one at a local pub—it was love at first bite! Since then, I’ve loved recreating them at home, experimenting with different toppings like crispy bacon, spicy mustard, or even a fried egg.

They’re a fun way to make a family night feel a little more special with this delicious burger!

Most grocery stores and bakeries carry them, often near specialty breads.

Yes! A cast iron skillet gives a great sear and keeps patties juicy.

What’s the Best Cheese for a Pretzel Bun Burger?

Use your favorite slice cheese. We like Swiss cheese but cheddar and provolone are great options.
