What’s inside a Crunchwrap?
The Crunchwrap is the combination of a taco and quesadilla wrapped into one. A large flour tortilla is placed on a flat surface, then it is topped with nacho cheese sauce. Then your choice of protein is added. We used ground beef in this recipe.
Then a corn tortilla is added to the top of the ground beef. Add your favorite toppings such as sour cream, diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce. Top this with a piece of flour tortilla and then start wrapping up your crunchwrap.
After folding up the crunchwrap then it cooks for a few minutes to a crispy texture.

How to Make a Crunchwrap on a Blackstone
- Step 1 – Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat (approximately 375-400 degrees F). Spread the oil out onto the grill with a spatula.

Step 2 – Add the ground beef to one side of the grill and use a spatula to break it up as it browns. When it is no longer pink, stir in the taco seasoning and the salsa. You can also cook meat in a skillet over medium heat, then drain excess grease.

Step 3 – Warm up the nacho cheese sauce in the microwave and set aside. Lay one tortilla on a flat surface. Spread a couple of tablespoons of nacho cheese in the middle of the tortilla.

Step 4 – Place the large tortillas on a plate and warm in the microwave for about 20 seconds. Place ½ cup of taco meat on top of the nacho cheese.

Step 5 – Next, add the crispy corn tortilla, spread sour cream, lettuce, tomato and the shredded pepper jack cheese.

Step 6 – To fold into the actual crunchwrap, start with the bottom of the tortilla and fold the edge up to the center on top of the tortilla piece.

Step 7 – Place the crunchwrap, seam side down, onto the other side of the Blackstone Grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until both sides are golden brown.

How to Serve Crunch Wrap
We serve the Crunchwrap with traditional mexican sides. Once the crunchwrap has rested for a few minutes, I like to cut into triangle slices for easy serving.
Serve with refried beans, black beans, sour cream, salsa and guacamole. We always have a side of tortilla chips.
