Blackstone Crunchwrap Supreme Recipe:

Blackstone Crunchwrap Recipe is an easy meal to prepare at home. My kids love Taco Bell’s Crunchwrap so I knew I could easily make it at home with simple ingredients.

The crunchwrap is easily made on your Blackstone and loaded with ground beef, lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. Really anything can be added to the tortilla and then wrapped and placed on the griddle.

We love copycat recipes and this one has become my kids favorite. This crunchwrap taste just like Taco Bell’s but better. Add your favorite salsa and a side of sour cream and meal is complete.

What’s inside a Crunchwrap?

The Crunchwrap is the combination of a taco and quesadilla wrapped into one. A large flour tortilla is placed on a flat surface, then it is topped with nacho cheese sauce. Then your choice of protein is added. We used ground beef in this recipe.

Then a corn tortilla is added to the top of the ground beef. Add your favorite toppings such as sour cream, diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce. Top this with a piece of flour tortilla and then start wrapping up your crunchwrap.

After folding up the crunchwrap then it cooks for a few minutes to a crispy texture.

How do you Fold a Tortilla for a Crunchwrap:

Wrapping the Crunchwrap may look difficult but it actually very easy to do. Try not to overfill the tortilla with the taco ingredients.

  • Cut 2 of the 8 tortillas into 4 evenly parts. This will become the top of the crunchwrap after adding all the ingredients.
  • Lay one of the large burrito size tortilla on a flat surface.
  • Top it with warmed nacho cheese and add the ground beef. Make sure you ground beef is cooked thoroughly.
  • Place a crunchy tostado shell on the top of the ground beef.
  • Then begin adding your favorite toppings. We added sour cream, diced tomatoes and shredded lettuce.
  • Place one of the cut flour tortilla over the top of the toppings.
  • Fold into the actual crunchwrap, start with the bottom of the tortilla and fold the edge up to the center on top of the tortilla piece.
  • Keep doing that, folding as tight as possible, as you work your way around the tortilla.
  • After wrapping the tortilla around the ingredients then it is time to place on griddle.

Blackstone Taco Bell Crunchwrap Recipe Tips:

  • Ground Beef – Cook ground beef thoroughly on the Blackstone breaking up the ground beef into small pieces.
  • Seasoning – We seasoned the ground beef with taco seasoning. You can use the packet or make homemade taco seasoning.
  • Oil – Make sure to oil the Blackstone to prevent the crunchwrap from sticking.
  • Crispy Tostada Shell – You can buy tostada shells or fry corn tortillas to give the crunch wrap that crunchy layer.

How to Serve Crunch Wrap:

We serve the Crunchwrap with traditional mexican sides. Once the crunchwrap has rested for a few minutes, I like to cut into triangle slices for easy serving.

Serve with refried beans, black beans, sour cream, salsa and guacamole. We always have a side of tortilla chips.
