How Can I Tell if Pork Chops are Cooked:

The pork chops are done when the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees. When cooking meats it is important to use a meat thermometer to check the pork chops temperature.

This is the best method instead of slicing into the pork chops.

Pork Chops with Maple Glaze Recipe Tips:

  • Hot Grill – Make sure to grill on a medium high heat and clean grill. This prevents the meat from sticking and giving you those beautiful grill marks.
  • Maple Glaze – Prepare the glaze in a saucepan and heat to a boil. This allows for the glaze to thicken. Remove from heat after simmer glaze.
  • Grilling Pork Chops –We recommend giving the pork chops a nice sear and grilling over direct heat. Then lower the heat and grill over indirect heat. This allows the pork chops to be tender and juicy.

Maple Pork Chops Variation Ideas:

  • Pork Chops – We like using bone-in pork chops, but you can also make this recipe with boneless pork chops.
  • Change the Sauce – If you want a hint of sweetness add in brown sugar to the ingredients.
  • Balsamic Vinegar – We love marinating the pork chops in a balsamic vinegar. You can also add in this vinegar to the maple glaze.
  • Serving – These pork chops would be delicious to serve with green beans, mashed potatoes, and corn on the cob.
