Ingredients

Little Smokies, strips of bacon, brown sugar, and BBQ Sauce
  • Little Smokies – You can also make this with sausages or beef brats
  • Bacon – We used classic cut but you can also use a thin cut

How to Make Smoked Bacon Wrapped Smokies

  • Step 1 – Preheat your smoker to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2 – Cut the sliced bacon into thirds.

Step 3 – Roll one piece of bacon strips around one little smokies. The bacon will overlap. Then secure the bacon with a toothpick.

Step 4 – Place the smokies in a large bowl. Drizzle the barbecue sauce and sprinkle the brown sugar on top.

Step 5 – Gently toss to coat the smokies in the barbecue sauce and brown sugar.

Step 6 – Place the prepared smokies on a wire rack on top of a baking sheet.

Step 7 – Then place the entire baking sheet into the smoker and cook for approximately 30 minutes.  Check the smokies and if the bacon is not crispy yet, continue to cook in 10-15 minute increments until the bacon is crispy or cooked to your preference. 

  • Step 8 – Remove the smokies from the smoker.  Allow them to cool slightly and then they are ready to serve and enjoy!

  • 1 pkg little smokies 14 ounces
  • 1 pkg bacon 16 ounces
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your smoker to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Continue this process until all the smokies are warped with bacon.
  • Place the smokies in a large bowl. Drizzle the barbecue sauce and sprinkle the brown sugar on top.
