Ingredients - Raw Almonds, butter, salt, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper
  • Raw Almonds – We usually get the unsalted almonds
  • Butter – We use Unsalted Butter that has been melted

  • Spicy Almonds – You can make these almonds spicier by adding in more cayenne pepper based on your taste preference. 
  • Spices – Feel free to change the spice for delicious variations. We have made these with cinnamon for the perfect holiday gift.
  • Change Nuts – You can make this recipe with other nuts such as pecan.

How to Make Smoked Almonds

  • Step 1 – Preheat the smoker to 250°F.

Step 2 – Place all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl and toss to coat the almonds with the mixture.

Step 3 – Spread the almonds out onto a rimmed baking sheet or in an aluminum pan.

  • Step 4 – Place the entire pan in the smoker and let the almonds smoke for 2 hours. 
  • Step 5 – Let the almonds cool completely and come to room temperature. Then they are ready to serve and enjoy!

  • Combining Ingredients – Before placing the almonds on the baking sheet, toss the almonds with seasoning for the best flavor.
  • Cool Almonds – Before serving, we like to give time for the almonds to rest and come to room temperature.
  • Wood Chips – Feel free to use any wood chips of your choice. We like the hickory or oak flavor.
