Stuffing burgers with cheese is an easy process and creates a juicy, delicious burger. You may have heard of this burger called Juicy Lucy burger, because the stuffed cheese. Another easy burger recipe to try is this Onion Smash Burgers.

What is in a Juicy Lucy Burger?
The Juicy Lucy Burger can be made in many different ways. A traditional cheeseburger is made with the slice of cheese melted on top.
But a Juicy Lucy burger is made with the cheese stuffed inside. This burger taste amazing and can be served with all your favorite toppings.

- Change the Meat – Feel free to change the meat to ground turkey. You can also combine ground beef and ground turkey.
- Add Bacon – For added flavor, add pork bacon to the burger.
- Change the Buns – Feel free to use any type of buns in this recipe. We like using brioche buns or hamburger buns.
How to Make Cheese Stuffed Burger on a Blackstone Griddle
- Step 1 – Heat Grill – Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).

Step 2 – Combine Seasoning with beef – Mix the ground beef, teaspoon salt and pepper. Then add in Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder together in a bowl. You can even add in paprika.

Step 3 – Divide beef – Divide the ground beef into 6 even balls (approximately ⅓ lb each).

Step 4 – Split the Beef Balls – Divide each ball in half and form into two thin patties. Place approximately 2-3 tablespoons of the shredded cheese in the center of one patty and then top with the other patty.

Step 5 – Seal the edges by pinching them together.
- Step 6 – Melt Butter – Melt the butter onto the Blackstone Grill and spread it around.
- Step 7 – Place patties on griddle – Place the ground beef patties on the Blackstone grill on the butter.
- Step 8 – Press Patties Flat – Gently press flat onto the Blackstone Grill making sure that you do not expose the cheese. Do not smash it all the way down but just press slightly to form a burger patty.
- Step 9 – Cook Patties – Cook the patties for 3-5 minutes on each side.
- Step 10 – Flip Burgers – Flip the burgers and cook until burgers are cooked through (3-4 more minutes).
- Step 11 – Remove from grill – Remove the patties from the grill.
- Step 12 – Toast Buns – Place the buns on the grill, cut side down for approximately 1 minute until browned. Remove the buns from the grill.

Step 13 – Add toppings – Add a lettuce leaf and onions to the bottom bun of each bun.

Step 14 – Top with beef – Add beef to each of the hamburger buns on top of the lettuce.
- Step 14 – Serve and Enjoy – Then top each patty with the lettuce, tomatoes and condiments of your choice. Serve warm and enjoy!

- Cooking Burgers – Make sure to preheat the griddle and oil it with olive oil. Gently press the burger balls down to flatten. This helps to cook the burgers evenly.

Yes, you can make this smash burger on a cast iron skillet or regular pan over medium heat. Combine the beef with the seasoning mixture in a large bowl.
