How Long to Cook a Turkey Burger:

When cooking burgers on the griddle, they do not take long. Cooking time will vary depending on how thick your turkey burger is.

Place your turkey patty on the griddle and top with parchment paper. Smash the burger with a burger press and cook for about 2 minutes on each side.

We recommend using a meat thermometer to ensure that your burger is cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees when the burger is cooked.

Best Turkey Burger Recipe Tips:

  • Combine Ingredients – When combining ingredients we recommend using your clean hands. This helps to really combine the ingredients and form into a patty.
  • Prepare Griddle – Before placing the patties on the griddle, make sure to preheat and oil it. This gives your patties the best texture and prevents it from sticking to the griddle.
  • Divide Mixture – When preparing the turkey patties, make sure you divide the meat mixture evenly. This ensures that the burgers cook evenly and about the same time.
  • Flipping Burgers – When you flip the burgers to cook on the other side, you do not need to smash them again. Your burger will cook and be the perfect thin patty.
