Expert Tips

  • Preparing Ground Beef Patties – Make sure to not squeeze the beef as you mix or you will have tough patties.
  • Cooking Beef Patties – Cooking time will vary depending on the size of the beef patties. We like to use a meat thermometer to ensure that the patties are fully cooked with an internal temperature of 160 degree. Try to make the patties about the same size so they cook evenly.
  • Make Ahead – To prepare this recipe ahead of time, make the patties ahead of time. Then when ready to serve make the gravy for a delicious meal.
