I am always trying to get my 8 kids to eat vegetables. I love making Grilled Broccoli in Foil but started making Grilled broccolini because of the milder flavor. Even my pickiest eater, will clean their plate anytime I serve broccolini.

Grilling vegetables gives the veggies a smoky flavor and a caramelize texture. It is seasoned easily with pantry spices but can easily be changed to what you prefer.

Ingredients

Broccolini, olive oil, garlic salt, pepper, lemon wedges
  • Broccolini – Trimmed and Seasoned
  • Olive Oil – Use oil of your choice
  • Garlic Salt – Feel free to also use garlic powder. We have also sprinkle with red pepper flakes or parmesan cheese for added flavor.
  • Lemon Wedges – Top with lemon juice and lemon zest right before serving

How to Make Grilled Broccolini

  • Step 1 – Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Step 2 – In a large bowl, toss the broccolini with olive oil, garlic salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

Step 3 – Lay the broccolini across the grill grates to keep it from slipping through.

Step 4 – Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, turning once, until the broccolini is lightly charred and tender-crisp.

Step 5 – Remove from the grill and place on a serving platter. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the broccolini. Enjoy!
