- Pineapple – Cut pineapple into slices or you can cut pineapple spears.
- Spices – Feel free to change the spices to what you prefer. Warm spices such as ground nutmeg would be a great additions.
How to Make Smoked Pineapple
- Step 1 – Preheat your smoker to 225 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2 – Peel all the sides off of your pineapple and slice it into thick rings.
Step 3 – Mix together the brown sugar, ground cinnamon and salt together in a small bowl.
Step 4 – Brush both sides of the pineapple rings with the brown sugar mixture.
Step 5 – Place the pineapple rings directly on the smoker grill grates in the smoke and let them smoke for 45-60 minutes until they are golden brown. (watch closely toward the end of the cook time so that they do not burn).
- Step 6 – Remove from the grill and serve as is or topped with ice cream or honey. Enjoy!
