Expert Tips

  • Cutting Whole Pineapple – After removing the skin from the pineapple, slice about the same size pieces. This will ensure that it smoked about the same time.
  • Coating Pineapple – For amazing taste, make sure to coat both sides of the pineapple before placing in the smoker.
  • Smoking Pineapple – Watch the pineapple slices closely so they do not burn. Once they are golden brown they are ready to be removed from the smoker.

Serving Suggestions

Smoked fresh pineapple makes a delicious dessert or side dish to many recipes. If you cooking all your food in the smoker, make sure to also include this smoked pineapple. It is delicious served topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of maple syrup.

We have even diced up the pineapple and made salsa as a side dish to pork tacos. It would have been delicious served over Grilled Chicken Breast Recipes.
