This robust seasoning blend combines the flavors of simple spices. We used ground spices but you can definitely add in whole spices to enhance the flavors.

  • Paprika – Add color to the blend but feel free to add in smoked paprika.
  • Salt and Pepper – This spice blend can be made with course salt and course black pepper or coarsely ground black peppercorns with the onion powder.
  • Cayenne Pepper – For a hint of spice, add in a ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper with spice mix. The combination of the red pepper flakes and the cayenne pepper gives it the perfect blend of spice.
