Ingredients - Chipotle Chili Powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, oregano, coriander, salt, cayenne pepper
  • Chipotle Chili Pepper Powder – Regular chili powder can be used as a substitutes if you are unable to find chipotle powder in your area. 
  • Smoked Paprika – You can also use regular paprika

  • Onion Powder – Feel free to substitute with minced onion
  • Cumin – See Best Substitute for Cumin if you are out
  • Dried Oregano – Dried Mexican oregano can be used instead of the oregano in this recipe. 
  • Ground Coriander – Feel free to substitute caraway seeds
  • Salt – You can reduce amount of salt for a low sodium option. You can use sea salt or kosher salt
  • Cayenne Pepper – This is gives the seasoning blend a hint of spice

How to Make Chipotle Seasoning

  • Step 1 – Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl.  Use a fork to break up any clumps in the mixture.
