Ingredients

- Chipotle Chili Pepper Powder – Regular chili powder can be used as a substitutes if you are unable to find chipotle powder in your area.
- Smoked Paprika – You can also use regular paprika
- Garlic Powder – If you are out, see The Best Garlic Powder Substitute
- Onion Powder – Feel free to substitute with minced onion
- Cumin – See Best Substitute for Cumin if you are out
- Dried Oregano – Dried Mexican oregano can be used instead of the oregano in this recipe.
- Ground Coriander – Feel free to substitute caraway seeds
- Salt – You can reduce amount of salt for a low sodium option. You can use sea salt or kosher salt
- Cayenne Pepper – This is gives the seasoning blend a hint of spice

How to Make Chipotle Seasoning
- Step 1 – Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl. Use a fork to break up any clumps in the mixture.

- Step 2 – Use this batch immediately or store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place for up to 4 months.

We love to use this seasoning blend on my cuts of meat and vegetables. We usually start with about ½ tablespoon and add more to make sure the meat is coated completely.
- Meats – Sprinkle the seasoning on pork chops, pork tenderloin, steak and chicken for amazing flavor.
- Vegetables – Add it to your Grilled Zucchini, Grilled Yellow Squash, Grilled Broccolini and Grilled Asparagus.
- Fish – We have even added it to our Grilled Shrimp Skewers, Hibachi Salmon, Grilled Tilapia and Grilled Catfish.
