Ingredients:
- Large Raw Shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)
- Olive Oil
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Lemon (juiced)
- Dried Oregano
- Garlic Powder
- Paprika
- Fresh Parsley chopped (for serving)
- Lemon Wedges (for serving)
How to Make Texas Roadhouse Grilled Shrimp:
- Step 1 – Combine Marinade Ingredients – Whisk together the olive oil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, oregano, garlic powder and paprika.
- Step 2 – Marinade Shrimp – Place the shrimp in the mixing bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes or up to 2 hours. While the shrimp is marinating, soak the wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
- Step 3 – Heat Grill – Preheat a grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F). Then thread the shrimp gently onto the wooden skewers.
- Step 4 – Grill Shrimp Skewers – Place the skewers directly on the hot grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.
- Step 5 – Serve and Enjoy – Serve immediately garnished with the fresh parsley and lemon wedges. You can have drizzle garlic butter of the top. Enjoy!
How Long to Grill Shrimp:
Cooking shrimp doesn’t take long on the grill. Place the shrimp skewers on the hot grill and cook for approximately 2 minutes on each side. You will know when the shrimp is done when the shrimp is pink and slightly white in color.
How to Cook Indoors:
The shrimp can easily be prepared indoors with an indoor grill or by baking the shrimp. You can also place the seasoned shrimp in a foil pack and bake the shrimp.
