This cheese filled tortellini and sausage recipe is one of our favorite Blackstone recipes. The savory Italian sausage cooks perfectly on the griddle for a delicious easy dinner idea.
This is the perfect Italian Sausage tortellini dish that can all be cooked on the griddle. The whole family will love this recipe and add a side of French bread for a complete meal idea.

Ingredients:

- Avocado Oil
- Ground Italian Sausage
- Cheese Tortellini (24 ounces)
- Fresh Spinach
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Roasted Red Bell Peppers
- Italian Dressing
- Salt
- Dried Oregano
- Shredded Parmesan Cheese
How to Make Tortellini and Sausage on Blackstone:
- Step 1 – Heat Griddle – Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium heat (approximately 350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Step 2 – Top with Oil – Drizzle the avocado oil onto the grill and spread it out with a spatula.
- Step 3 – Cook Sausage – Add the ground sausage to the grill. Break up the sausage crumble and cook for 5-8 minutes until browned.
- Step 4 – Add Tortellini on the Blackstone – Push the sausage to one side of the Blackstone griddle. Spread the tortellini pasta onto the other side of the grill. Drizzle cold water over the pasta with a squeeze bottle to steam the tortellini.
- Step 5 – Top with Cherry Tomatoes – Pour the cherry tomatoes over the pasta. Season with the salt.
- Step 6 – Combine Ingredients – Mix together the sausage, tortellini and cherry tomatoes. Cook for 5-6 minutes (tossing frequently) until the tomatoes start to blister and the tortellini is heated through. Cooking times will vary.
- Step 7 – Add Vegetables – Add in the fresh spinach, roasted red bell peppers and the Italian salad dressing. Cook and toss for 2-3 minutes until the spinach starts to wilt and the dressing is coating all the ingredients.
- Step 8 – Add Oregano – Season with the dried oregano.
- Step 9 – Top with Cheese – Top with the shredded Parmesan Cheese. Then remove from the grill.
- Step 10 – Serve – Serve immediately while warm and enjoy.

- Prepare Griddle – Make sure to preheat griddle and oil before cooking anything on the griddle.
- Cook Sausage – Cook the sausage on the griddle over medium-high heat until sausage is no longer pink.

- Variety of Tortellini – Make this recipe with fresh tortellini and feel free to use cheese-filled tortellini or meat filled tortellini.
- Spices – This recipe can be made with different types of spices. Feel free to mix in garlic, thyme, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, or fresh herbs. Add in fresh basil, parsley, or fresh mozzarella balls for delicious flavor.
- Cream Cheese – If you want a creamier texture, add in cream cheese.

- 2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
- 6 ounces Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium high heat (approximately 350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Drizzle the avocado oil onto the grill and spread it out with a spatula.

- Push the sausage to one side of the grill. Spread the tortellini pasta onto the other side of the grill. Drizzle water over the pasta with a squeeze bottle to steam the tortellini.
- Pour the cherry tomatoes over the pasta. Season with the salt.
- Mix together the sausage, tortellini and cherry tomatoes. Cook for 5-6 minutes (tossing frequently) until the tomatoes start to blister and the tortellini is heated through.
- Add in the fresh spinach, roasted red bell peppers (with the liquid from the jar) and the Italian salad dressing. Cook and toss for 2-3 minutes until the spinach starts to wilt and the dressing is coating all the ingredients.
- Season with the dried oregano.
- Top with the shredded Parmesan Cheese. Then remove from the grill.
- Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!
